Today we went to the Vienna Zoo. I chose to study things about the Giraffe.
The giraffe is an mammal from Africa. It has patches of colour on its fur. the patches are there so it blends into the forest. It is hiding from predators. Giraffes are hunted by lions they are also by leopards, hyenas and wild dogs.
It has extremely long neck and legs. It's a very tall animal. Giraffes are usually found in savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands in Africa. They eat mostly acacia leaves. With thier long neck and legs they can reach the top of the tree so they have a lot of food.
I reckon that giraffes are very cool animals.
